Mental Health
Mental health is how well we sense and act when we come
across different situations. Like physical wellbeing, mental fitness is
prerequisite to handle stress and to relate with people at different phases
of life. All of us feel sad, anxious and stressed at times, but when one
suffers from a mental illness, such feelings do not go away with ease
and thus interrupt the flow of daily life. Such people find it really
hard to keep friends, uphold a job and also don't enjoy life to the fullest.

Mental Health Treatment
When it comes to the treatment of mental health disorders, psychotherapy
still rules over other available preparations and treatments. Brief therapy,
cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and family or couples
therapy are some eminent forms of psychotherapy that are profoundly applied
at present. However, mental health treatment drugs such as Ativan and
Zoloft are often utilized to restore brain chemistry to a normal state.
In some cases, these mental health medications entirely prove ineffective
and thus psychotherapy alone comes to rescue. Besides, some people are
unable to use these medications due to other reasons. But, the combination
of mental health medications and psychotherapy is often found most effectual
in treating a mental illness. |
